Westcoast DIPA / 8.5% ABV - Once a year the best hop farmers in the world pick their emerald nuggets of perfection fresh from the vine, pack them into boxes and send them to those of us brewers who love few things on earth as much as these chlorophyll-laden flowers of resinous love. To celebrate our favorite format of hops we brew up a big sticky batch of our favorite Westcoast Double IPA using them, and that is how Giant Lands becomes Fresh Lands. Leafy green undertones and grassy flavors drape across this high-octane dry as a bone Double, tickles the senses for a brief second, and then the huge dry-hopping drops an aroma-bomb on your nose with notes of passion fruit, ripe mango, sweet blueberries, white grapefruit, tangerine juice, bright melon, yuzu zest, crushed pineapple, lychee gummies, and pine resin [hops: Mosaic Fresh Hops, Krush Fresh Hops, Simcoe Fresh Hops].
