Bock Lager / 6.6% ABV - Misunderstood and regionally unique, Bock Lager takes all sorts of forms from country to country. But if you ask us, a Bock has got to have some heft, some size, some weight; they should be groß, not gross. For Rough & Tumble, we harken back to a traditional German Bock: an oversized Lager packed to the gills with German barley. Expect complex caramelized malt, dark plum fruit, intense toast, and a finish of light roasted coffee chaff. All Bocks are awesome, whether you’re smashing Super Bocks on the beach in Lagos or relishing a Celebrator in Bavaria. These malt monsters might just be the most underrated of all lagers.
